Colorado Springs Portland Gold Mining Company Payment voucher dated 1923. Drawn on the account of the Portland Gold Mining Company, paid to the order of the American Railway Express Co. Signed by Tho. F. Burns and Irving Howbert. This is a great Portland voucher paid to the American Ry. Express Co. with three (3) American Railway Express Co. receipts enclosed. The payment was for shipping a total of 190 pounds of gold bullion from the Portland mine to the U. S. Mint in Denver. F condition. This item also listed in the Colorado Ephemera catalogue.
