The Denver Stock Exchange was established by a collector for the collector and dedicated to offering antique, historical and collectable stock certificates and ephemera to the collector community.
The Denver Stock Exchange offers only original material, no reproductions. We specialize in Colorado material, but offer other historical and collectable material as well. When possible, we provide detailed historical information concerning a company's properties or business. While you are browsing our site, if you do not see what you are looking for, please register with the DSE and inform us of your collecting interests. We may have a particular item not yet listed on the site or may be able to locate that item for you.
We update the site often with new material, so bookmark the Denver Stock Exchange and keep checking back!
We believe in and encourage the preservation of paper documents and the history they represent. We have provided a venue for collectors to display Colorado certificates for everyone to enjoy. Now
about me....I am a native of Colorado and grew up in the shadow of Pikes Peak
and the Cripple Creek District. I have always had a fascination with the
history of Colorado and in particular with its fabulously rich mining history. I
have a very special fondness for the history of Cripple Creek as well as the
stock certificates, checks, books and multitude of other items related to and
representing the history of Cripple Creek and am an ardent collector of Cripple
Creek material. I have been a collector of Colorado stock
certificates and other Colorado material for over 16 years.
My love for Colorado goes well beyond the history as I take full advantage of
the amazing opportunities that the Colorado outdoors offer for skiing in the
winter.......
....and
backpacking and fly fishing in the remote backcountry during
our wonderful, but short, summers.
I hope that everyone reading this gains as much enjoyment as I in being able to hold a piece of Colorado history in your hands! After all, that's why we collect....
