Chicago, Ill. Letterhead dated at Chicago, Ill., 1932. A fabulously illustrated letterhead with Melotte machine and factory building. The letter is a collection letter for an individual in Wild Horse, Colorado. Letterhead is in near fine condition with normal folds and small hole-punch at upper-left.

Letterhead is made of tin "rice-paper". Very god condition with a rough edge in one spot on right margin (see scan); all paper in tact, no chips.

The Globe Detective Department "An 'eye' to Business" Detective Agency Letterhead dated at Des Moines, Iowa, 1886. This is one of the most attractive and interesting letterheads we have seen! The detective agency letter is very ornate with graphics and a unique eyeball illustration, similar to the famous Pinkerton Detective Agency logo. It states in part: "Evidence in law cases secured; subpoenas, warrants, all legal documents served; Records searched; Absent witnesses and missing persons traced; Habits of employees ascertained; Origins of fire investigated, and all other business requiring the aid of experienced detectives." The company was organized in 1882 and incorporated in 1884. The letterhead is signed by the Chief and Manager, J. F. Duvall. Letterhead is in very fine condition with normal letter folds. A wonderfully Illustrated letterhead with a man making a shoe and the company warehouse and factory buildings. Letter was written to M. Glauber of Cripple Creek regarding a backorder of shoes ready for shipment. Letterhead is in very good condition with normal folds and very minor moisture stain on back of letter.
