This is a beautifully ornate early Cripple Creek certificate depicting sacks of gold ore!  In 1894, Cripple Creek production was just beginning to increase to significant levels and outside capital began to flow more readily into the District.  Having the words "Cripple Creek" a part of a company name undoubtedly improved the chances one would invest in that companies stock.
